All Lowden guitars are handmade with great care and attention under the direct supervision of George Lowden. They are uniquely voiced using George Lowden's original 'dolphin' profile technique where braces are carefully carved and individually biased for each body size and soundboard selection, ensuring optimal response and tonal sensitivity. Lowden guitars feature carefully selected split tonewoods, all wood bindings and purflings, an elegant wood rosette, five piece neck for stability and tone, integral truss rod which does not compress the neck wood, ebony fingerboard and are hand polished with the unique Lowden satin finish technique.
